Description

BBOOM is a new brand of water bottles with explosive and eye-catching graphics that target the younger audience.

A marketing, communication and design project and an everyday object, which deliberately takes the shape of old glass milk bottles, to convey a message of awareness and respect on major issues such as sustainability and the environment, with a touch of glamour.

A woman in a white sweater and denim shorts playfully covers her eyes against a red background. She is laughing, with her mouth open, and is surrounded by white drawn hearts. A pair of sunglasses hangs from her shorts pocket.

Concept

A water bottle dedicated to the new generations, with an unusual “vintage” shape and graphics that draw on new media and timeless trends, such as cartoons, fashion, technology, superheroes.

In this mix of inspirations, BBOOM finds its place in the world: it is a real personal and daily communication tool to match with a backpack or sweatshirt, characterized by a mix of accessories, including colored gaskets designed to customize the closure between the cap and the bottle and a keychain gadget to share with friends.

Naming

For BBOOM, the choice of the name comes from the desire to combine the concept of a steel water bottle with that of a vintage bottle in a short and international-sounding word, with a pleasantly explosive “twist”.

In this way, the brand positions itself in the water bottle and lifestyle sector with an impactful and almost “comic-like” name, capable of winking at the public.

Three versions of a logo design for "BBOOM": the first shows a grid-based blueprint in blue, the second is a simplified gray outline, and the third is a bold red version featuring a stylized geometric flower above the brand name.

Payoff

To give even more strength and character to the naming, highlighting the vital spirit of BBOOM, the choice to combine it with an equally sparkling payoff.

“Fill Explosive” is the summary in two words of what BBOOM is: an everyday object to fill with your favorite drink… and with a pinch of verve.

Collage of diverse people each with colorful, patterned bottles overlayed. Central text reads "FILL EXPLOSIVE." The individuals express various emotions and fashion styles, emphasizing vibrant and dynamic energy.

Logo

The logo plays on the naming BBOOM, with the five letters of the brand that are repositioned to compose an anthropocentric figure that recalls the Japanese samurai or the robots of the most famous manga.

In this way, not only is the logo a visual and graphic symbol, but it becomes an icon within the icon that tells of a world of trend and avant-garde, in which past and future, tradition and innovation enhance each other.

A series of four stylized representations of the word "BOMO" transforming from scattered letters to a unified logo, gradually altering hue from light pink at the top to bold red at the bottom, with shadows underneath each stage.

Prototyping and Execution

Designed to be appreciated in the lifestyle sector, the shape of BBOOM immediately brings to mind the world of food and beverage, creating a space-time gap between product sectors, as well as between generations.

Intentionally inspired by the curves of ancient glass milk bottles, BBOOM is also a cult object to accessorize and customize, with different gadgets and materials that help to make it always versatile.

Design concepts for a plastic bottle, including technical sketches, dimensions, and 3D rendered views. Variations in bottle cap colors and materials are displayed, along with a focus on the bottle's contours and proportions.

Production

In addition to the steel bottle body, dressed in eye-catching and colorful graphics, the production included the development of red plastic caps, along with unusual accessories and gadgets, which can be combined and matched at school, in sports and in outdoor life.

Brand Identity

BBOOM’s brand identity is a promise to the target: an invitation to make challenging and original choices, using the water bottle as a communication tool.

The trendy colors, the colorful and captivating graphics of the water bottles, are packaged inside carefully designed packaging that reflects the red color of the cap.

A tri-fold brochure for "BAOOM." It features product images of colorful tubes, a woman holding a tube, various design elements, and details like unique colors and a fill indicator. The brochure includes the website "www.baoom.com.

Brand Strategy

BBOOM presented itself internationally with a launch strategy managed and planned on the site, online shop, various marketplaces and social media.

Bloggers and mini-influencers also collaborated on the project, for a global launch followed by a diversification strategy, designed to make the brand evolve and adapt to market needs.

E-commerce

Explosive and eye-catching graphics, a trendy and colorful water bottle, a young and constantly evolving target: BBOOM is style, personality and independence.

Its values are well represented on the e-commerce site, a dedicated space where you can choose your favorite water bottle to buy it directly online.
