Description

In an era in which well-being has gone from a “simple” aspiration to a social imperative and a global economic driver, the healthiness of the air is an increasingly important topic for the public.

In this context, the Colmari brand and its certified air ozonizer with purifier, sanitizer and natural insecticide functions come into play.

It is a highly technological product, “packaged” in a product design project that evolves its purely functional identity to transform it into a furnishing object.

Logo

The purity of the air becomes the inspiration for a logo that is light in shape and easy to read.

The choice of Helvetica as a font, among the most appreciated in the world of design for its characteristics of functionality combined with aesthetics, is able to tell the story of the product with refinement and simplicity, without superstructures.

Communication concept

Two elements, respectively oxygen and ozone, become the inspiration for Colmari’s product design.

The oblong profile, the soft and essential lines, want to simulate the “splitting” of the O2 and O3 molecules, which transform into pure air, for the different target audiences.

Design

In a market where ozonizers are characterized exclusively by shapes that seem to belong to an industrial and mechanical world, Colmari chooses to differentiate itself through aesthetics.

The product design of the ozonizer is naturally minimal, enriched by customizable finishes to “dress” the product and transform it into a versatile and refined furnishing accessory in every environment, both at work and at home.

A line drawing of three objects: a vertical oval shape with a circular opening and six small holes, a tall rectangle with two horizontal lines dividing it, and a small square below them.
Blueprint-like drawing showing three objects: an elongated oval with legs on the left, a vertical structure with a rectangular base and textured patterns in the center, and a smaller, square structure with circular elements at the bottom.

Prototyping and execution

To launch Colmari on the market, a preliminary version of the product was studied, capable of highlighting all its peculiarities and effectively testing its functionality and design.

This indispensable process was followed by the design of detailed technical drawings, the “so-called” executive ones, necessary for the production, marketing and sale to the public of the Colmari product.
