Description

Palazzo De Nordis is a modern art gallery offering visitors a prestigious collection donated by the renowned De Martiis family to the ancient Forum Iulii, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

With paintings by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Victor Vasarely, and Emilio Vedova, along with numerous works from the 20th century and the Eastern European avant-garde, this year Galleria De Nordis is preparing for new development prospects.

The exhibition “Holy Pop” by artist Howtan Re officially inaugurates the new chapter of the exhibition space, with an eclectic opening that blends pop art, spirituality, and brand identity.

Proposing a profound and provocative reflection on the themes of the sacred and the profane, on the pains of the 20th century and those of contemporary society, Holy Pop offers an opportunity to rediscover the beauty of Palazzo De Nordis in a journey that extends from the urban spaces to the interior of the exhibition space, through the display cases of the works on display.

The project is a process of “extrusion” from the artwork to the brand identity, aiming to place art at the center of a narrative ecosystem that lives across various communication materials: from the photo shoot to the exhibition catalog, from museum installations to city dressing, up to the vernissage that brought together local authorities, art critics, the artist, and institutions, including ERPAC, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Department of Culture, and the Minister of Culture.
