Communication concept, OOH – Out of home, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Linate, Milan Multipassenger Stations, Naples



“Where are we going on holiday?” is a question that every person, family, group of friends asks themselves about once or twice a year. Some even more.

It is also the incipit of the new communication concept chosen by PromoTurismo FVG, whose objective is to describe Friuli Venezia Giulia as a destination full of possibilities, including fun, relaxation, sea, mountains, culture, food and wine and beyond.

Inspired by the TV commercial planned throughout Italy, the communication concept for the new PromoTurismo FVG press campaign resulted in a title that directly addresses the target travellers.

“Whatever your desire for a holiday, Friuli Venezia Giulia is your solution”, this is the idea that summarizes the intention to position the region as a holiday destination that always manages to make everyone agree.

OOH – Out of home


Among the most sought-after spaces in which to sponsor a tourist destination, airports come first.

Planned during the periods of greatest influx of passengers, the campaign for PromoTurismo FVG took exclusive possession, for an entire month, of the most impactful spaces within the airports of Milan, Naples and Rome.

Roma Fiumicino


A strategic and transit hub for millions of passengers every day, Rome Fiumicino has given space to 32 triangular deltas over 2.5 meters high and almost 5 meters wide.

An immersive and massive project, which entirely covered the pedestrian tunnels connecting the Fiumicino railway station, the multi-storey car parks and the terminals.

In addition to the 32 OOH posters, the backlit and circular panels of the two main elevators have been added, positioned in the most important junctions of the Air Terminal.

Milano Linate


With the aim of intercepting all departing passengers waiting for take-off at Gates A1 – A2 of Linate Airport, the OOH project involved the construction of a backlit system measuring 4 meters wide and 2 meters high, in heart of the airport.

To complete the project created for Linate airport, the PromoTurismo FVG campaign also covered some of the metropolitan hubs that connect the Milanese hinterland area to the city centre.

For a month, 7 stations of the Passante Ferroviario told the story of Friuli Venezia Giulia on 62 OOH billboards, with a high visual impact.



With 13 million passengers in 2023 alone, Naples airport is one of the most important Italian crossroads.

The departure areas, the main hall of the terminal and the timetable are the places chosen to give space to the Friuli Venezia Giulia branded LED walls, communicating the variety of the region to the public of departing and arriving travellers, meeters & greeters and to the airport community.
